Owning a garage that is far from your home is a big hassle. That's why Weekend Drive Garage is located right in the heart of the Sugar Land, TX area. Less than a 15 minute drive from all of Sugar Land, Missouri City, Stafford, Riverstone, Sienna, etc. What's the old saying about real estate? Location, location, location! Garage condo sizes were chosen to ensure plenty of room for vehicle storage, comfort and flexibility. Each garage is at least 26' wide. Three different garage lengths are available, 35', 40' and 50'. Each garage condo has a 15’ by 26' mezzanine with 12’ clear under the mezzanine (plenty of room for a car lift UNDER mezzanine.) High ceilings (minimum of 21' and sloping up at 1:12) ensures plenty of headroom in the mezzanine. Garage area ranges from 1,300 ft^2 to nearly 1,700 ft^2 (even higher if you combine multiple garages.)
The garage door is critical in determining how flexible the use of the garage will be. All luxury garage condos have 18' wide by 14' tall, insulated, wind rated, steel shell garage doors with 3" tracks. A premium electric operator is also included. Have you ever seen a luxury garage with a 12' wide door? I have and it severely limits how you can use your garage. 18' wide ensures maximum flexibility.
All foundations are constructed of 6" thick slabs, deep and wide beams and are reinforced with the optimal amount of rebar. This ensures that your floor is structurally sound, regardless of what you park in your garage. Standard garages have a 4" slab and generally work well, but 6" of high spec concrete gives that extra strength so there will be no worries.
A 4 ton mini split climate control system with two units inside each luxury garage suite. One indoor unit placed to control the area in the mezzanine and one covering the main floor. Walls and ceiling are fully insulated to ensure the interior climate is kept comfortable on both the hottest and coldest days.
Electricity is single phase with at least a 100 amp main breaker per garage suite. plumbing is roughed in to allow for fitting out as you desire. Put in a sink, a toilet, even a shower, it's all up to you. The community has its own well and commercial grade aerobic septic system.
In addition to the big garage door, each garage has a 3' wide pedestrian door as well. The driveway in front of the garage is at least 50' wide, ensuring plenty of room to get even the biggest items in and out of your garage condominium.
